1. S.B. 203 Rothman Removes the nighttime restriction on farm vehicles (e.g., light-duty trucks).
2. S.B. 802 Stefano and Boscola Adds an optional designation (“i”) on a driver’s license or identification card to reflect a communication impairment (e.g., deafness, autism).
Amendment No. 2378 Stefano Provides technical improvements, such as: (1) Changes “impairment” to “barrier”; (2) Requires promulgation of temporary regulations; (3) Adds
diagnosed speech and language disorder as a health condition; and (4)
Extends the effective date to one year.
