Senator Wayne Langerholc, Jr. (R-35), chairman of the Senate Transportation Committee, held a news conference at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 3, at Rigby Park, 801 Ferndale Ave., Johnstown.
The news conference highlighted 4.2 miles of new bike lanes on PA Route 403 from the Cambria/Somerset County line in Upper Yoder Township through Ferndale Borough and ending at the intersection of PA Route 56 in the City of Johnstown.
Senator Langerholc was joined by state and local officials, as well as community leaders, to embrace biking as a healthy, accessible and affordable mode of transportation.
